Psalm 91 Prayer

Father, I come boldly to your throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Today, I speak Psalm 91 over myself and loved ones with thanksgiving. Knowing by faith, it’s already done.

Thank you, Lord, that the (insert family name) dwells in the secret place of the Most High and we abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Father, we are joyful because you are our refuge, our fortress, and our God in which we trust. You have delivered us from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. You have covered us with your feathers, and under your wings we take refuge. Your truth is our shield and buckler.

I declare the (insert family name) is not afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand, but it shall not come near this family. Because of your goodness, we shall see the reward of the wicked with our eyes. Lord, we have made you our refuge. The Most High is our dwelling place. No evil shall befall this family, nor shall any plague, including the coronavirus, come near our dwelling.

Thank you for giving angels charge over the (insert family name), to keep us in all our ways. In their hands they shall bear us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone. Father, in the name of Jesus, we tread upon the lion and the cobra. The young lion and the serpent we trample underfoot. Because we have set our love upon you, you have delivered us. You have set us on high, because we have known your name. When we call upon you; you answer us, and you are with us in trouble!

Thank you, Father God, that you have delivered the (insert family name), and you honored us. With long life, shall you satisfy us, and show us your salvation!
